Our History

Gadsden Tomato Co. is a private wholesale round tomato packaging company, incorporated in Northern Florida, and located in Quincy, Florida. Our company specializes in packaging of mature green and vine ripe round tomatoes.

The company was founded in 1982 by Graves Williams, Billy Don Grant, Taylor Budd Williams, Gene Williams, Will Maxwell, Stewart Suber, John Suber, Harvey Suber and Byron Royals. Today the main operation is still in the hands of Billy Don Grant, Graves Williams, Harvey Suber, and John Suber who also grow and harvest the tomatoes packed at our facility.

High Hope Farms LLC is solely owned by Billy Don Grant and Graves Williams.

SK Enterprises is solely owned by John Suber and Harvey Suber.

Both growers established themselves as farmers in the early 1980’s and decided then to grow and package their tomatoes. Our expertise in producing and packaging quality grown round tomatoes comes from 40 years of experience and the determination to bring the best quality tomatoes available to our customers. Over the years different generations of family members have joined the day-to-day operations for the packinghouses and the farms. We take pride in growing and packaging high-quality fruit. We are one of the last growing and packaging facilities left in Northern Florida and South Georgia.
